With her UTM friends during her UTM life in Semarak
I met her when she was just about 9 yrs old...
She has beautiful brown eyes (could tell that as she stared me most of the time..)
She looked more to an observer & only smile at times (not like her other sisters..)
A sweet girl but with darker edition..hehehe
As his uncle & me 'grow' along, I watched her grow..
Not likely as a mother for I only saw her once or twice a year.
When his uncle shook my late father's hand in ijab kabul,officially, I'm her Chik Olyn.
Having to live separated from my husband, me in Lenga, Muar & him working in Sg. Udang, we need not to have our own place yet.
So, every weekend, I would take a bus, Muar-Melaka-DT.
Usually, the minute I get of infront of my in-law's house, she would be waiting for me under the rambutan tree..
She's a very soft-hearted person and yet a joyful to be with..but kememeh! (easily cry over small matters..heheheh)
She would come to me to talk, to raise her eagerness of knowledge (as I read a lot & me being a teacher at that time).
Would it be personal or not, she would come to me..
LAter, when I gave birth to Firdaus & had my 2 wks confinement at my in-law's,
she was always there after school to accommodate me with her helping hands..
She would play with the baby, take him outside of the house & play....

Firdaus was almost 2 yrs, taken on a zoo trip..
When I finally got transfered to Melaka, we rented a house in Bukit RAmbai.
I saw her more often as we would go back to DT whenever convenient as it was just 30 mins away..
Once in a while, I would take her dining out with her other 4 siblings (at that time).
...until the day she started her campus life in UTM Semarak.
Time passed by and she started a job in Shah Alam..
One day she told me..
"Chik Olyn.. Ada sorang budak engineer tu kan, dia br masuk keje tempat adik.." with a smiling face...
Who would ever wonder, that young & fresh engineer would be her husband one day??
They got engaged without me around..
But we were hooked on the phone talking 'unsolved issues' all the time!..
But everything went ok...
Their 1st breakfasting Previous RAmadhan... Not alone together k.. They brought the other sisters for escort (or just to jamba mamba around??)
Our previous Syawal together..Me, the"always happening aunt" with her other sisters (Ina & Ida) with her sitting right up front!
Finally, the BIG M DAY came..
They were akad nikahed on 18th December 2009..
It was my busiest and an important day for her..
With Ina, her younger sister, we made up her room & her pelamin (which was a bit 'dull').
I prepared for their makan beradab & few more things...
My husband & I..we bought them a special gift as their wedding present..
Just to accommodate them in starting a family..Wink! Wink! Wink!..hehehehe
AND IT WORKED! HAHAHAHAHAHA...Sorry..can't tell u.... heehhehee

Finally, the 2 love birds... 18th December 2009
The 2 birds with their other half...
When she was tested +ve for pregnancy.. I was so happy.. We were so happy!..
But have to keep it a family secret for a while.. trying not to be too excited too early..
The older MAlay people always say, it's not good to be over excited when the pregnancy is still new...
Since her pregnancy, I only saw her twice, In February 2010 (during a nephew's wedding) & the last Ramadhan..
But we chatted thru FB, send smses & return phone calls (not likely..she'll be calling me most of the time!hehehe)..
Most of the time, she would asks me bout babies, pregnancies & update me with the family's latest stories....
Until yesterday afternoon...
she 'called' me from the FB chat box..
She just came back from her regular check-up & had some stains..
She have been having some pains ..just like pre-menstrual pains..
I was ...giggling all the way for I know the time is near..
It's not my 1st time to have a grandkid but I have been waiting for this one...;P
I was worried the whole time..
Until finally Ina called me at 10.58pm ....
"Chik Olyn! RAsanya mentuban Komai dah pecah!"
I asked Ina to send the mummy-to-be to the hospital immediately..
And she handed the phone to the lady with a broken waterbag!
"Chik Olyn, mentuban Adik (it's a family name for her although she has 3 more younger sisters!) dah pecah!NAk buat camne ni?"
""Ok..gi spital skang jugak..", I told her.
""Gi skang ke..Ke nak tunggu lagi ni" she asked me.
"X leh tunggu dah.. Mentuban dah pecah, bahaya kalau tunggu. Gi spital skang jugak!BAik2!"
After that last call, I couldn't sleep..
Too worried as her husband is staying in Melaka & was on his way up to Shah Alam, where the 3 yo-yo sisters r staying...
(Forgot to let u know..her husband (Serul) in working & staying in Melaka..while she's in Shah Alam.. They r a weekend couple)
At 1.02 am, early this morning, I called Ina..asking for the latest updates of the mummy -to-be.
She's only 1.5cm dilated (and trying to rest)...
The hp changed hands..I just need to hear her voice to know how she's handling it..
"Chik Olyn, sakittttt... " her deep & painful voice was at the end of the phone...
Me..."Memang sakit.. Tp Xpe.. Selawat banyak-banyak.. Doctor kasik apa?"
"Tadi doctor inject pain killer.." she told me..
"Contraction rapat tak ni?" I wonder..
"Iye kot.." And I heard her urges to bear the pain of her contractions.....
"Ok..Amai selawat banyak2 k.. Chik Olyn doa ni... Apa2 hal, call..BAik2 ye .Selawat! Assalamualaikum.."
I ended the conversation with my prayers for her..
A mother in waiting.. Me, the Nek Chik...unable to sleep huhuhu...
Ina sent the waited ever sms to my hb's hp at 4.20am.. "MAi dah bersalin baby boy pukul 3.42 am"
ALHAMDULLILLAH.....
At 6.46.15 am, MAi sent sms to me..
"Dah selamat bersalin pg td 3.42am. Berat baby 2.9kg. (with a smiling Smiley face at the end of the sms)"
Congratulations to me & hb .. NAik Gred 11 la kitorang hr ni..hehehehe

Mudah-mudahan dia akan menjadi manusia yg berguna di dunia & juga diakhirat...
Dididik dgn penuh kasih sayang, Insyaallah....
Dan semoga rumahtangga kalian akan lebih bahagia & bermakna dengan kelahiran.......(laaa... lupa plak nak tanya nama cucu!)
